CITE and Saint Peter’s University have partnered on an innovative Doctorate in Education.
In a time of crisis, when high-quality educational leaders are needed most, we have partnered to address two chronic issues within the current educational landscape: affordability and accessibility in high-quality leadership training programs.
Programs Offered:

Ed.D. in Educational Leadership for K-12
The program focuses on preparing educational leaders to shape policies, manage school districts, and enhance student success. It emphasizes real-world problem-solving and includes a concentration in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). The program is online, consists of 54 credits, and takes approximately three (3) years to complete.

Ed.D. in Ed. Leadership for Higher Education
This program is designed for professionals aiming for leadership roles in colleges, universities, and government sectors. The program focuses on decision-making, strategic thinking, and change management to prepare graduates for top positions in higher education administration.

Ph.D. in Educational Leadership
The Ph.D. in Ed Leadership provides an alternative to the Ed.D. in Educational Leadership in K-12 or in Higher Education. The primary purpose of the program is to provide options for candidates who are seeking a quality preparation program for work as professors in Colleges/Universities or who seek careers in private or public educational research or advocacy. With its emphasis on contemporary research and university teaching.

ABD Completion Program
The doctoral completion option is not a new program in the Caulfield School of Education, but rather a strategy to both support our enrollments and to provide needed resources and expertise to graduate students from other university doctoral programs who have not been able to complete their dissertation or program. At this time, the proposal will only apply to the K-12 Ed.D. If successful, we will consider adding to other programs including the Ed.D. in Higher Education and the Ph.D.
Earn Your Doctorate in Educational Leadership
Our program is designed for your success, in a cohort model with dissertation support along the way. Intended pace of completion for the Ed.D. for K-12 and Higher Education is 36 months, including dissertation. Classes are online, and students meet once a month with an instructor in-person.
Enrollment is for New York or Colorado residents.
